He cooks a lot does Alex. = He cooks a lot, does Alex.

也可以进行“左偏置”的，如：
My father, he's not interested in this any more.

这种用法在英语里称作“duplicated subjects”（主语重复）。但多数情况下，重复前有逗号或破折号，重复的可以是主语。如They work very hard, most of them。 He likes his beer, John.但也可以是“主语+助动词”，通常是助动词在后，如要强调，助动词可以提前。比如：She really got on my nerves, Sylvia did. (He) hasn't a chance, Fred hasn't. 像上面问题中这样没用逗号，而又倒装的情况很少，所以感觉很特别。
