Marrying him was the biggest mistake she ever made.
It / This is the best beer (that) I have ever drunk.
It / This was the worst film (that) he had ever seen.
He is the kindest man (that) I have ever met.
It was the most worrying day (that) he had ever spent.
It was the best cake I ever ate.
Who was the best pilot you ever saw?
This was the programme I was treated to that night.
This was the line I took with Cromer in reporting my conversation witn Dobrynin.
This was the best lesson I ever had.
In retrospect, this was one of the best decisions I ever made.
That was because he did not understand the nature of emotional greatness.
The boss scolded him. That was because he came late.
That was how I got my gastric trouble.
That was how they sneaked by.
He asked me whether I attended the meeting. (误)
He asked me whether I had attended the meeting. (正)
He asked me whether I would attend the meeting. (正)
He asked me whether I was attending the meeting. (正)
