▲just don’t 的用法：

一是表示强调，意思是“真的不……”“确实不……”。如：

I just don’t know if things are going to work out. 我真的不知道能否成事。

I just don’t have that kind of money (= I haven’t got so much money). 我确实没有那么多钱。

People here just don’t know how to dress, present company excepted. 这里的人真不知道如何穿衣打扮，在座诸位除外。

二是表示圆滑，意思是“只是不……”。如：

I mean, I think he’s a good teacher, but I just don’t like him. 我是说，我觉得他是个好老师，只是我不喜欢他。

I just don’t want him getting on my case for being late for work. 我只是不希望他拿我的迟到来说三道四。

I’ve nothing against him—I just don’t have much in common with him. 我一点都不讨厌他，只是和他没有太多相似之处。

▲don’t just 的用法：

主要用于祈使句中，意思“不要只……”，其言外之意是你做得不够，做得不充分，做得不全面，做得不完整…… 如：

Don’t just sit back and let it happen. 要坐视不理，听之任之。

Don’t just stand there, do something. 别光在那里站着，做点事吧。

Think for yourself, don’t just follow the crowd. 要独立思考，不要只是人云亦云。

Don’t just suffer in silence (= without saying anything). 如果你不喜欢，应该说出来。别闷在心里。

Do your own thing, don’t just follow the crowd (= do what everyone else does.) 做你自己的事，不要只是随波逐流。
