您好！请问如何区别 the first time 是在做来连词还是作名词？

1. the first time首先是个名词短语

It is the first time for him to work out this problem. 这对他来说是第一次解决出这个问题。

2. 还可以做连词引导时间状语从句

I felt nervous the first time I gave a speech to many students. 我第一次给学生做演讲时感到很紧张。
