如果 of 后面是单数可数名词，也可以这样用，但前面只能用 some, much, most（可用于修饰不可数名词的限定词），不宜one, two, several, many（可用于修饰可数名词的限定词）。如：

Some of his story is not true. 他讲的情况有些不真实。

Narrative makes up most of the book. 这本书的大部分篇幅都是叙述性的。

She told them most of the story, but kept back the bit about her uncle. 她把事情大部分都跟他们讲了，但隐瞒了有关她叔叔的那一小部分。

Much of the film shows the painter simply going about his task. 这部电影大部分都在描述那位画家如何完全沉溺于自己的工作。
