on time（按时）通常是用作状语的，对不对？比如：

The train came in on time. 火车准时抵达。

He said he would be late, yet he arrived on time. 他说他会迟到，但他却准时到了。

I’m afraid it’s next door to impossible that we’ll be there on time. 看来我们几乎不可能准时赶到了。
