表示地点、方位等的介词短语作状语位于句首时，若谓语动词为不及物动词，这类情况常引起完全倒装，即将整个谓语动词置于主语之前。如：

注意若主语是代词，则不倒装。如：

另外，表示地点的介词短语作表语位于句首时，也会引起倒装。如：
In the room were some students. 房间里有一些学生
正常语序是：Some students were in the room.
