a great deal of 与 a good deal of 中的形容词通常是great，有时也用 good，好像不如 great 来得常见。如果说要换其他的形容词，似乎很少见，查了一下，偶尔也用 fair, vast 等。如：
He spent a fair deal of money on it.
They found a vast deal of oil there.
