【1】no+单数可数名词=not a/an+单数可数名词
There is no bed in the room=There isn't a bed in the room.房间里没有床。
There is no egg in the basket=There isn't an egg in the basket.篮子里没有鸡蛋。
【2】no+复数可数名词=not any+复数可数名词
There were no letters this morning.=There weren't any letters this morning.今天早上一封信也没有。
【3】no+不可数名词=not any+不可数名词
There is no bread left.=There isn't any bread left一片面包都没有了。

1. no后面接可数名词用单数或复数均可：
接单数：
No student is to leave the room. 学生不得离开这个房间。
No cigarette is completely harmless. 香烟没有完全无害的。
No man is born a genius. 没有人生来就是天才。
接复数：
No apologies are needed. 不用道歉。
No dogs are allowed in the park. 禁止携狗进人公园。
No cars are allowed beyond this line. 车辆不得越过此线。
no后面接可数名词用单数或复数均可，但比较而言，用单数名词语气更强（含有“没有任何一个”的意味）。
2. no 后面也可以接不可数名词：
No money was found. 没有找到钱。
No news is good news. 没有消息就是好消息。
