这是一道改错题，正确答案是将that改为whereby，应该是把whereby the instructor lectures to students当成定语从句，修饰前面的methods。

但是我觉得如果把原文中that the instructor lectures to students当作是同位语从句似乎也说得通，理解为“方法是老师给学生上课”。

请各位师友帮忙看一下这种理解思路对不对，如果不对的话错在哪里，感谢大家。

同位语从句的先行词一般是抽象名词，因此一般是单数。这里复数methods显然不宜作同位语从句先行词。whereby = by which, 因此用它引出定语从句更为合适。
