take turns后接不定式还是现在分词

牛津高中英语模三p9有这样一句话：

The other group members could take turns narrating and holding the pictures. 另外一组的成员可以轮流叙述和举画。

句中的take turns后面接的是现在分词，但我的笔记上有take turns后接不定式的用法（没有当时没抄例句）。

请问take turns到底是接不定式还是现在分词？若两者都可接，它们有区别吗？

take turns 后面可以接动词的ing形式和“at + 动词的ing形式”,表示“轮流做某事”的意思。例如：

He and his wife take turns washing the dishes. 他和他的妻子依次洗刷盘子。（《英汉双解当代美国英语学习词典》第1638页）

She and Mark took turns at feeding it . 她和马克轮流给它喂食。（《张道真高级英语词典》第1607页）

我查阅了十多部英美和我国编写的英英词典、英汉词典和英语语法、用法专著，还没有发现take turns 后面接动词不定式的例句。
