备注: sat和contemplated为2个并列谓语动词，属于同等重要的2个动作。连词and起连接作用。不可以省略and。

【2】He sat there, contemplating.

备注:sat是谓语动词，属于主要动作，contemplating是非谓语动词(现在分词)，属于次要动作，不可以再使用连词and,现在分词contemplating作伴随状语。
