网友的句子中的 ten thousands of 用得不对，可改为 tens of thousands of：

We dare not look at a nest of ants because there are tens of thousands of them in it, which makes your heart tremble. 我们不敢看蚂蚁窝，因为那里面有数以万计的蚂蚁，让你的心发麻。

赞同陈老师的改正。但如果仅有一处错，或着说仅允许改动一个词，如果我们仅从语法角度考虑，而不考虑其他方面的可能性，我会把 thousands 改为单数，即 ten thousand of them (一万只蚂蚁）。
