be bursting with中的进行体是由语义决定的吗

be bursting with表示爆满涨满，这个意思中burst似乎必须用进行体，这是由语义决定的吗？类似的还有be teeming with，但be teeming with这种在字典里已被标注为习语，可是be bursting with没有，这是为什么呢？

咱们查的好像不是同一本词典，我查的词典本本都有这个习语。

Oxford:

be bursting (with something) to be very full of something; to be very full and almost breaking open

The roads are bursting with cars.

to be bursting with ideas/enthusiasm/pride

to have a lot of something or be filled with something

一种记忆方法是像Collins那样，将bursting看作由现在分词转化来的形容词，省去很多烦恼；一种是把be bursting看作要爆（炸）了，不是burst真爆了。就像I am dying. 我还没死呢，别急着埋我啊！

你查一下柯林斯词典就会发现这里bursting是形容词，be bursting with是系表结构，不是进行体。

1. ADJECTIVE [verb-link ADJECTIVE]

If a place is bursting with people or things, it is full of them.
