剑桥英语语法24页有一个地方

粗体字的地方分别对应的是括号内的分类（complement补语，modifier修饰语，determiner限定语）

请问：of their dog为何不能解释为名词的修饰语呢，that they had brought with them为何不能解释为补足语呢，请曹老师解答，太感谢您了

剑桥英语语法第430-448页讨论了名词的补足语与修饰语。你如果感兴趣可以去仔细阅读并体会。不过作为英语初学者，我建议你还是按照传统语法把修饰名词的都分析为定语。等你的英语水平达到一定程度，你再去钻研现代语法。
