名词化的动名词可以带冠词，动名词则不能。例如：

use的适当形式填空。

答案只能是名词use，不能用using，因为using是及物动词的动名词，后面应该直接跟宾语，不能用 of。例如：She booked the flight using a false name. 她用化名预订了航班。（《朗文当代高级英语辞典》第6版）
