问题: 同样,这个句子的谓语动词是are made,那么not born是个啥成分呢？感觉are也可以和born 组成谓语。另外，put another way 这是个连接性状语吗？

1 这个that从句本身是一个强调句型，强调主语。普通的句式如下：Processing and aggregations give the data value, but the mere possession of bits does not give the data value. 这二个句子用it is...that...强调句型强调主语，得到二个强调句： it is processing and aggregations that gives the data value, but it is not the mere possession of bits that gives the data value. 这二个强调句合并，省略第二分句的相同从句，插入第一分句中，就得到本句 it is processing and aggregations, (but) not the mere possession of bits,that gives the data value.

2 expert performers are nearly always made, (but they are) not born. 这是并列句的省略。put another way 为插入语。
