首先 notice 并没有“公告栏”的意思。如果要表示“公告栏”,可以用 noticeboard,notice-board。如:
There were lots of notices on the notice-board. 布告栏上有许多布告。
I've put the list of players up on the noticeboard. 我已经把参赛选手名单贴在布告板上了。
从汉语意思来看,“公告栏”显然属于具体名词,而非抽象名词,它前面是不宜用零冠词的。从这一点也可以看出,notice 不太可能是“公告栏”的意思。
