The topic of my speech is China's Western Development Program.

“Volunteer” is a simple name with an unusual meaning. In order to promote the development of the west area of China. China launched the “Western”. There are thousands of college graduates answering  the call.They go to the places where people need them most. As young people in the new era, we should learn from them and become volunteers to realize the Chinese Dream.

Because of its unique geographical location，the west area of  China has kept its original environment for a long time and also caused its poor economy.

At present, a lot of students practice the voluntary spirit and actively enter into social service undertakings.

Although the conditions in the remote areas are difficult and the work is complex,  it is a vast world with great possibilities and a wonderful stage for realizing the value of life.

Let's take an active part in volunteer activities and dedicate ourselves to realizing the Chinese Dream.
