natural science（作不可数名词）和 natural sciences 的前面用或者不用定冠词都可以。

根据《朗文当代高级英语辞典》第6版，表示“人文学科”的意思时，可以用也可以不用定冠词，即用 arts, the arts, humanities 或者 the humanities 都是正确的。
