within the...，但是原文却是一个非谓语having和一个because引导的句子并列，这种用法常见吗？请教各位老师

reasoning of both having...中的dual和both来理解句义的话，并列应该是属于of both后某些内容的并列，不然为什么不写成 based on the reasoning of having... and,
because... 。但是如果是在of 后并列，那么就应该是一个宾语性质的成分，可是没听说过because可以引导宾语从句。所以到底该如何理解呢，请教各位老师!
