这个if真实条件句章振邦称为whenever型真实条件句。这种条件句的从句和主句都表示习惯意义，即任何时候只要条件成立，主句的动作就会发生。主句可以用一般现在时，也可以用will do形式。这个will是表示习惯的will，其实也就是说话人对习惯性事件的推测。用一般现在时和will do, 句子意思差别不大。例如，If you heat water to 100 °C，it boils/will boil. 你说这二个句子意思有差异吗？要学会举一反三，以后不要再问类似问题。另外，will表示推测，是说话人信心很足的推测，仅次于must。这就是为什么一般将来时用will do表示。一般将来时的will其实就是表示推测意义的情态动词will。
