这句是Swan的著作上的。forecast有两种过去时和过去分词形式：forecast和forecasted，估计你出这题的意思就在于此。

Sidney Greenbaum曾经写过这样一段话：

The preferred past tense and participle is forecast rather than forecasted, though both forms exist: He forecast(ed) a wet summer, A wet summer has been forecast(ed).

报刊杂志上这两种形式确实都有，than forecast确实出现的频率高一点。
