请问老师that在从句中的用法

I still don’t know who wrote that very first quote, but if you’re out there.

请问老师们，这个句子中who wrote是know的宾语从句。而that引导的从句我就糊涂了。请问它们是wrote后面的宾语从句，还是解释who的呢？

that在此是指示代词，不是连词。that very first quote= the very first quote. that起特指限定词的作用。
