neither...nor...连接句子为什么不倒装

2021浙江宁波中考题里出现的：

If you keep on crying about your past, neither your present will be right nor the future will be bright.

neither, nor后引导的主系表均未出现倒装现象，是为何？

If you keep on crying about your past, neither your present will be right nor the future will be bright.

学习英语，理解语法规则，不要停留在表面，要掌握关键问题。不要以为neither或者 nor 开头的句子，就一定要倒装。网友的句子中，neither ... nor...是否定意义，但它们是并列连词，也叫“关联并列连词”，分别引出两个并列句。用作连词时不倒装。

语法规定的倒装，是指否定词或半否定用作副词，词置于句首时，也就是说，neither 或者 nor 用作否定副词时，才产生倒装。neither 与 nor 作连词时，不产生倒装，用作限定词或代词也不倒装：

Neither answer is correct.

Neither of the answers is correct.

只有 neither 或 nor，用作副词置于句子开头，才产生倒装语序。如：

I never learned to swim and neither did they.

我从没学过游泳，他们也没学过。

I can't ever recall Dad hugging me. Neither did I sit on his knee.

我记不得爸爸拥抱过我，也不曾在他膝上坐过。

We don't forget that. Nor does he

我们没有忘记那事，他也没有。

I haven't seen her. Nor have I heard from her.

我没有见过她，也没有她的消息。
