动名词与现在分词分析

I like doing sth ， doing 这个是动名词还是现在分词， What is the name of the boy sitting next to her？The boy sitting next to her.这个是现在分词短语，现在分词只出现在进行时吗？其他如果存在于两个动词，第二个变形算什么成分在句子里？如thank you for you doing sth. you doing sth 是什么成分在里面？该如何区分动名词与现在分词？

“I like doing sth ”中的 doing 是动名词，作like的宾语。在“ What is the name of the boy sitting next to her？”中， sitting next to her是现在分词短语，作the boy的后置定语。现在分词不是只用于现在进行时中，还用于过去进行时、将来进行时或其它情况中，语法书中“非谓语动词”的现在分词或动词的-ing形式部分都会有详细介绍。不能说thank you for you doing sth. 只能说thank you for doing sth. 其中的 for doing sth是介词短语，作原因状语，表示thank you的原因。 doing sth. 是动名词短语，作介词for的宾语。
