There is no denying that most people prefer controllable things to difficult ones. On the one hand, if straight-A students select an easy passing course, it may give him or her benefit in the short-term, but in the long-term it would be harmful to his or her further development. When encountering a complex problem related to knowledge of the difficult course, the young people maybe regret the former selection, cannot solve the issue and have a bad influence on his or her confidence. On the other hand, if a poor student chooses a highly difficult course, he or she could fail to understand the teacher's interpretation, acquire less knowledge and hardly pass the exam of the course, which gives the adolescent an extra burden.

All in all, appropriate choices are beneficial to the development of undergraduates.
