when从句的位置

I have already forgotten when it was that you bought the computer.

这句话中when为什么会放到it was前面呢?

我原本以为应该是I have already forgotten that it was when that you bought the computer.

是不是因为被强调部分是特殊疑问词所以就提前了呢？那when有没有顺便引导宾语从句呢?

先看一个陈述句。You bought the computer last year.

用强调句型强调时间状语，得到：It was last year that you bought the computer.

现在对这个强调句型中的last year提问，得到：

When was it that you bought the computer?

然后让这个问句作I have already forgotten的宾语从句。特殊疑问句用作名词性从句，你只需要去掉问号，把倒装语序改为正常语序即可：

I have already forgotten when it was that you bought the computer. 这就是你的句子。其中when it was that you bought the computer为名词性疑问分句作宾语。
