I need not explain myself farther; and though we know this anxiety to be quite needless, yet if she feels it, it will easily account for her behaviour to me;

and so deservedly dear as he is to his sister, whatever anxiety she may feel on his behalf is natural and amiable.

请教老师： know this anxiety to be quite needless - 这是know sth to be 宾补结构吗？只见过know sth +adj这种结构。

还有so deservedly dear as he is to his sister 如何理解这里的so...as结构？

1. know this anxiety to be quite needless，know 可以接 to be adj./n. 作宾补。

2. so deservedly dear as he is to his sister，这是 as 引导的让步状语从句，表语 so deservedly dear 前置。正常表达是：though he is so deservedly dear to his sister, 尽管他对他妹妹来说是如此的珍贵。
