(1)连接副词how引导的从句“作了主句的主语成分” 所以how引导的是主语从句.
How he came here is still unclear.他是怎么来这里仍然不清楚。
(2)连接代词what引导的从句“作了主句的宾语成分” 所以what引导的是宾语从句，由于前面有个介词on，所以叫介词宾语从句
She was very angry about what Tom did.她对汤姆所做的事情非常生气
备注：宾语从句有2种，
(1)放在动词后作宾语的从句叫“动词宾语从句，简称动宾”
Tom knows where Mary lives.汤姆知道玛丽住在哪里。
(2)放在介词后作宾语的从句叫“介词宾语从句，简称介宾”
