5 名词短语可以做限制性短语从句或状语从句吗
老师您好！在朗文双解字典里看到如下例句：
The walk starts at Alnham,six miles west of Bridge of Ain.
请问six miles west of Bridge of Ain是否是非限制性定语从句。如果是的话，名词性短语可以做非限制短语从句？
另外以下句子：
3,205 meters above(the) sea level, Qinghai lake is located about 100 kilometers west of Xining, capital of Qinghai province in western china.（青海湖青海湖位于海拔3205米、青海省省会西宁以西约100公里处。）
3,205 meters above(the) sea level在这句中是充当状语吗？如是的话，名词性短语能做状语？

从结构看，six miles west of Bridge of Ain 总体是介词短短语，west of 是复合介词，six miles 是名词词组修饰 west of。从作用看，黑体部分作 Alnham 的非限制性定语。它不是从句，故不能说定语从句。但可以转换为一个非限制性定语从句：...,which is miles west of Bridge of Ain
2. 3,205 meters above (the) sea level, Qinghai lake is located about 100 kilometers west of Xining, capital of Qinghai province in western China.
3,205 meters above (the) sea level 的结构与上句 six miles west of Bridge of Ain 相同， 3,205 meters 也是修饰above 介词短语。但位置变了，作用也随之变化。这里是作状语，可以理解为“背景状语”。
有时，介词短语或分词短语放在句首作状语，描述句子主语的基本情况或谓语动词发生的背景。可以叫作“背景状语或描写状语”，一般能转换成一个并列句。
