介词短语可否作宾语的补语

我看到一个句子，it felt so good to let the crisp cool air into my lungs。

这句话中用介词短语into my lungs做前面名词air的补语，我觉得这个结构很少见，要我会说…cool air come into my lungs或blow into my lungs。请教老师，介词短语可否像这样做宾语的补语？如果可以，请再举几个例句说明。

我认为，it是形式主语，to let the crisp cool air into my lungs是真正主语，feel so good是谓语。请参考。介词短语做宾语的例子I foud a book on the desk.

由于介词 into 带有动作性质，在一些不定式作宾补的结构中，经常省略 into 之前的动词，还有其他一些介词或副词之前省略动词，也是如此，目的为了简练。就看作动词的省略吧。又如：

Let him in. = Let him come in.

Let him into the room. = Let him come into the room.

I'd like to invite you to the concert. =I'd like to invite you to go to the concert.
