关于排比句一句话出现多个谓语的问题

老师您好，我在章振邦语法教程书上看到这样一句话：

Mary washed the dishes，(Mary) dried them，and(Mary) put them in the cupboard

and前的一句中用了两个谓语，不是一个句子只能出现一个谓语动词，剩下的变成非谓语吗，为什么这句话中有两个谓语，有什么根据吗?

Mary washed the dishes，(Mary) dried them，and(Mary) put them in the cupboard

参考译文：玛丽洗了餐具，并把它们擦干，然后把它们放进厨柜里。

如果有并列连词and，可以连接1个或者1个以上的并列谓语动词。washed, dried, put是3个并列谓语动词。
