The boy wanted to ride his bike in the street but his mother told him not to.

1.祁使句变间接引语，句型不是tell sb (not) to do sth吗，为什么后面不是but his mother told him not to do?

2.She warned her son never to drive after drinking.

句型是warn sb not to do sth,never和not都是否定副词,它们在任何情况下都可以互换的是吗？

1 but his mother told him not to. 这是不定式的省略形式，只保留to, 避免重复。

2 为什么要如此绝对呢？I warned him not to go tomorrow. 你能用never吗？表示具体时间作某事，是不能用never的。never= not ever, 而ever=at any time, 不是具体特定时间。
