这不是一个完整的句子，只是一个形容词短语。整个句子结构为： (Something is) as ugly for A as（ it is） for B.
for the performers to look at 为悬空不定式复合结构作ugly的补足语，省略的主语为look at的逻辑宾语。（ugly作表语，允许其后的不定式为悬空不定式（反射不定式）
for the spectators 为as比较分句的状语，对于...而言。who enter what should be a magical space 为the spectators的定语从句，其中what should be a magical space为名词性关系分句作enter的宾语，what=the thing which.
