各位老师好，请问一下，以下我的理解是否正确。

1）He is not taller than me. 这个句子是不是可以如下理解？

①我们可能一样高。

②他比我矮。

2）not +比较级+ than 这个真的存在吗？

也就是说，我上面那个句子成立吗？

当然，not more than 不包括在其中。因为此时 more than相当于一个固定用法，not是其否定形式。

我之所以有以上困惑是因为，我看到的字典里面，在提到not/no 的用法时，No 才用在比较句型中，比如剑桥高阶第四版：

a) You can use no before the er-form of an adjective.

Their house is no bigger than ours. (这两句英文都是字典里的例子）

又如柯林斯字典的解释：

b) You can use no to make the negative form of a comparative.

It is to start broadcasting no later than the end of next year.

所以，回到的我的第二个问题：Not+比较级+than 这个表达成立吗？（not more than 例外）

3）如果成立：

not +比较级+than

No +比较级+than 有什么区别呢？

柯林斯字典对no later than 的例子，其实就是在说：开播时间要么年底之前，要么就是年底

He is not taller than me. 他要么比我矮，要么和我一样高。

这个和 not +比较级+ than 不是意思一样了吗？
