in加时间段表示在这段时间之内还是之后

老师，请问in+时间段是表示在这段时间之内，还是这段时间之后，因为看到不同的句子有不同的翻译。

1. 在美国英语的否定句中，in+时间段是表示在这段时间之内,。如：

She hasn't seen her daughter in three months. 她三个月没有见到她的女儿了。

2. 在将来时的句子中（肯定句），in+时间段通常表示这段时间之后。如：

I'll come in three weeks.我三个星期后回来。

3.在肯定句中，in+时间段有时表示在这段时间之内，主要应该根据语义来判断。如：

I can run 200 metres in about 30 seconds. (摘自《牛津英语用法指南》第四版 386.6 节)我跑200米大约需要30秒。（或：我能够在30秒内跑200米。）

(1)介词in+时间段；在（某段时间）之后（英文解释：after a particular length of time）

I'll have some breakfast ready in a few minutes.几分钟后我就能做点儿早饭出来。

They'll be back in six months. 6个月之后他们就会回来。

She will return in a few minutes/hours/days/months.

她将在几分钟 / 几小时 / 几天 / 几个月后回来

It will be ready in a week's time (= one week from now) .只需一周的时间就会准备好。

(2)in+时间段 a particular period of time 在（某段时间）内

I haven't seen him in years.我有好些年没见过他了。

It's the first letter I've had in ten days.这是我十天来收到的第一封信。

备注：在表示在某个时间段之内，通常使用“within+时间段”
