原句是Progress has been so far very good.

so far时间状语，它可以放在句首,句中,句末是吗？

时间状语放在句中是放在哪个位置？

这个短语位置没有特别规定，如：

Research have so far proved inconclusive.（《柯林斯英汉双解大辞典》）

基本上时间状语位置也是如此，如：

At the age of 20, I left school.
