手头刚好有陈老师提到的这本 A Dictionary of American Idioms 的翻译版本，里面还真有 better than 这个词条：
一般词典都应该有。从这个句子的意思来看，你猜都应该猜出better than应该是more than的意思。然后你会纳闷better 有 more 的意思吗？此时你需要查词典。
