我想请问这里的 involved in 是否是 involve sb in sth 的用法,根据柯林斯字典,这种搭配中好像都是人被 involved,而上面的例句中主语是 work,能否像人一样被 involved 呢?
如果可以,那么句子应该是:
There was a lot of work involved in / setting up the festival.
但我觉得还有另一种划分:
There was a lot of work involved / in setting up the festival.
请问哪个是正确的呢?我问过别人,只告诉我 be involved in 是固定搭配,但仔细看了字典后,我又对这种搭配所适用的主体有所疑惑。
