介词后可以接名词、代词或相当于名词的其他词类、短语或从句作它的宾语，表示与其他成分的关系。介词和它的宾语构成介词词组，在句中作状语，表语，补语，定语或介词宾语。
almost all of what is called behavioral science “几乎所有的什么被叫做行为科学的东西”，自然一点的翻译就是“几乎所有的所谓的行为科学”。
of这个介词后面加的就是一个what引导的名词性从句，“所谓的行为科学”，它的功能就相当于是一个名词短语一样。
