我们都知道if引导虚拟条件句时，可以省略连词if，而把从句中的were, had, 或should倒装。但 Even if 引导让步状语从句是否也可以省略if，从句采用倒装结构，语法书好像没有明确说明。但COCA语料库却不乏此类例句，以下为COCA语料库例句：
