2 介词的问题

曹老师好，以下两个句子的句意我可以理解，但是我无法按照我以往的逻辑思维理解其中的for和of介词短语：

1.Consider your answer carefully. You do not want me for an enemy.

词典没有搜到want sb for，那么for an enemy是什么成分？介词for是什么含义呢？(我疑惑为何不直接说you do not want me to be your enemy呢？)

2.If we are to help her, we must be prepared to make an enemy of Father Hubbard.

这个of Father Hubbard是定语吗？它前后两个词enemy和Father Hubbard是哪种关系呢？介词of是什么含义呢？

第一句中的for表示目的或用途，词典释义为 used to indicate the thing that something is meant to be used with。例句：Are these the tires for this car? The scenery for the play is beautiful. This food is for the party.

You do not want me for an enemy. 这个句子中for介词短语是目的状语。

第二句的of与make是搭配关系，make A of B , of 表示制作某物的原材料，常用被动结构，The table is made of wood.这个句子中的of就是这个意思。
