Your friend comes to school very upset.
He went to bed cold and hungry.
Long and untidy, his hair played in the breeze.
She went away quite a child.

He returned quite a different man.
The bird fell dead to the ground.
He returned home damp and weary enough after his ten-mile walk.
She went away from home quite a young girl and returned a mother of three.
He got married very young.
The hare was caught alive.
The dog fell down dead.

He opened the drawer,as if in search of something important.
