China is the birthplace of kites, from where kite flying spreads to lanan,Korea,Thailand and India.

这句话中，from介词后接关系副词where，这是什么用法？介词后不应该接名词性的词吗？

同理还有：I wonder where they will take us to. 这里 to where 中的 where 词性是什么？

有二种理解可以供你选择：第一，where是关系副词，但可以作少数介词的宾语。第二，把where分析为关系代词，作介词的宾语（即where即可以是关系副词，也可以是关系代词）。这样你就不会纠结了。
