as引导从句成分分析

高中老师讲的as引导限制性定语从句，as是关系代词，与the same……as、such……as连用。可是此句中as明显不是关系代词，所以也就不可能是引导定语从句。
1、那也就是说，高中的语法as引导定语从句有很大的局限性吗？
2、这里的as是比较副词，引导的是比较壮语从句，这么分析正确吗？

as 针对 same 来的，有了same 才用的 as。传统语法认为 as 引导定语从句，过分看重句子结构（认为 as 从句缺少成分）。而从语义观察，应该是比较从句。
as 虽然是针对 same 而用，但它的作用确实具有指代性，它其实是指被 same 限定的那个名词。本句，as 指 time，或者说它等于 at the time，它后面接一个从句，说明这个从句的动作就在这个时间发生。我们作一对比：
I have the same dictionary as you. （省略 have，或do。as 暗指 dictionary）
我和你有同样的词典。
The horse's mane can be washed at the same time as his body. （省略 can be washed，或can）
马的鬃毛可以随其身体一起刷洗。
《柯林斯英汉双解大词典》
The luggage arrived at the same time as the passengers. （省略arrived，或did）
人和行李一齐到了。
问题句as 后面句子的谓语动词与主句的could push 不同，故不可省略 grips。
我认为，根据 as 的作用，叫做“比较代词或比较连词”更好，因为后面是它引导的一个从句（省略与主句重复的成分）。
