请问老师上面这个句子features后为什么是逗号不是句号？

这个句子as far as 引导状从，后面是不是就等于he says that we have more than enough already.

Mr Richer noticed that the top-performing companies described in the book had two common features: they treated both customers and their employees well.
这个句子中，Mr Richer noticed为主句，后接that引导的宾语从句。这样安排的句子，主句为主要信息，从句为次要信息。句子突出Mr Richer注意到了某个现象。而原句用宾语从句的内容作主句，而原来的主句以插入语的形式出现（补充说明），则句子突出的现在的主句（原来的宾语从句）的内容。冒号后部分为two common features的同位语从句。
