【2】extract vt.提取;提炼;挖掘 英文解释：To extract a substance means to obtain it from something else, for example by using industrial or chemical processes.

表示“摘录”的意思时，两者没有区别。excerpt 不能作动词，extract 可以作动词，具体用法查词典便知。
