3 请教一处分词的使用
有一句话，it is because we feel a little strange using the word neither， because we don't use it very often.
请教一下这句话里“using the word neither”做什么语法成分？在这里为什么用using分词形式呢？在using前面是否存在一个omitted的介词呢？比如说of或是for，也就是完整的句子应当是it is because we feel a little strange of（for）using the word neither.
这样认为正确吗？

1. using the word neither作表语从句的伴随状语，译为当我们用这个单词的时候，我们会觉得有一点陌生，两个动作是同时发生的，非谓语作状语，除了你熟悉的连词引导状语从句外，非谓语也可以做状语，但就不是状语从句了，因为没有连词引导，非谓语的形式就根据主语和这个非谓语动词的逻辑关系，如:The teacher came in,followed by three students.学生跟着老师走进来了，学生follow老师，老师被follow,teacher与follow间是被动关系，所以follow用被动形式，对比Three students came in，following the teacher.学生跟着老师进来了，这个你就知道为什么了吧，学生主动跟着老师进来的，非谓语用主动形式，这道题也一样，we与use是主动关系，所以用using,当然也可以改为一个状语从句:，It is because we feel a little strange while we are using the word neither， because we don't use it very often.你的问题在于不知道非谓语可以做状语这个用法，可以百度一下
2.it is because we feel a little strange of（for）using the word neither.你说的不正确，你用混了
你说的那个句型是it's adj for sb to do sth.for只能加人表示说明的对象，to do只能加动词作目的状语，和这道题不一样，但这一句可以改为这样的形式:It is because we will feel a little strange to use the word neither， because we don't use it very often.注意我改的部分，没有用for us是因为表语从句里已经有we了,在加for us以后句意重复了，对于来说我们会感觉陌生.......,肯定不对，要用to use表示use这个动作发生在将来，所以feel也必须发生在将来，两个动作是同时发生的，我们用这个单词的时候我们就会感到陌生所以feel前加上will
