1.这是今天看到的一句话，我怀疑是否有错误：

If you were a fern, I'd say you have a fatal lack of chlorophyll.

虚拟语气的主句是个复合句，我的疑问是复合句的从句是否应该遵循“主过从过”呢？也就是说have是否应该改为had？

2.We are going to force it out the way it came in.

这句话out the way it came in是结果状语还是宾补？

1. If you were a fern, I'd say you have a fatal lack of chlorophyll.
——在含有虚拟语气的条件句或主句中，如果再包含一个从句的话，可以不受影响，仍然使用陈述语气。If 非真实条件句，只影响主句的谓语动词形式。它不影响本句中所含的其他从句的动词形式（包括定语从句、状语从句、名词性从句等），也不影响主句所含的其他从句的谓语动词形式。换句话说，在一个“含有非真实条件的复合句”中，无论 if 从句还是主句当中，若含有其他从句，那么，这些从句的动词形式均不受影响。
举例说明。以下虚拟句中，各含一个陈述语气的从句，有定语从句和状语从句，主从句中分别有一个。
If I saved a lot of money that I can earn, I would buy a BMW.
If I saved a lot of money when I grow up, I would buy a BMW.
If I saved a lot of money, I would buy a BMW when I grow up.
If I saved a lot of money, I would buy a BMW which is of real German make.
2. We are going to force it out the way it came in.
——out 是副词，跟 the way 无关。而是跟force 有关，说明 force 的结果，或者看作固定词组：force out。
the way = as 引导方式状语从句。也就是说，我们按照它进来的方式，再把它逼出去。

1. 在虚拟语气里，不一定都需要时态一致。这和说话人的意图有关。问题句的虚拟体现在would say 上，说话人对后面的部分是很肯定的。所以可以用现在时。我给你举个例子：I would think this sentence is very difficult. 再给你个英语国家媒体的例句：I would think it is difficult to improve the numbers when jobs keep getting shipped overseas to lower paying workforces, reducing the work to be measured for inclusion! 一般虚拟语气遇到这种复合句，如果发生在if 条件句里，要尽可能保持时态一致，因为这是假设。你的句子，主句当然也可以说I’d say you'd have...

2. the way it came in=in the way that it came in. 可以看作是方式状语。 out 和后面的没关系，应该是force it out.
